Introduction of Logic Gates

Logic gates are the basic building blocks of digital circuits. They perform simple logical operations on binary inputs (0 and 1) and give a single binary output.

LOGIC GATES

INTRODUCTION

Logic gates are the basic building blocks of digital circuits. They perform simple logical operations on binary inputs (0 and 1) and give a single binary output.

These gates form the base of all modern electronic devices, from simple switches to advanced processors. They work using Boolean algebra. The seven main types of logic gates are AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XOR, and XNOR.

Logic "0" means 0 volts in a circuit. It is also called as LOW, OFF, or False.

Logic "1" means +5 volts in a circuit. It is also called as HIGH, ON, or True.
