1. Keywords: These are reserved words with special meaning in C++.

For example ‒ int, class.


2. Identifiers: The identifiers are the names given to variables, functions, classes.


3. Constants: These are fixed values that don't change during execution of program.


4. Operators: These are symbols that are used to perform operations.

 

5. Punctuators: These are the symbols that structure the code.

 

6. Strings: Sequence of characters enclosed in double quotes
