the twelve defects, the worst are Kagapatham, Kalangam,Vindu Iragai. Quality
diamonds without the above said four defects were sold.

Emerald Stones

stones without the defects Neerottam and irul were sold. Such stones emitted
green light.
3. Ruby

Four
types of Rubies which are non defective, namely Pathuman, Neelam, Vindham and
Paditham were sold.

8. Pearls

pearls of clear light in white and red colours which had been removed from the
dirt caused by wind, sand stone and water were sold.
9. Corals
Red
coloured corals free from holes, bends and kinks were sold in shops.
And
yet, even if it was the same stone, the stones which are able to emit five
kinds of light were sold. Such stones were Manickam, Pushparagam, Vaidurium,
Neelam, Komethagam. These stones were sold in the shops.
