Classical Bit

Definition | Quantum Computing

Thus a bit also known as a classical bit can be in state 0 or state 1, and measuring a bit at any time results in one of two possible outcomes.

CLASSICAL BIT

A Classical bit can be either 0 or 1.

Information in digital representation uses a sequence of bits. Each bit is basically the charge of an electron. If the electron is charged, the bit is assumed to carry a value 1; alternatively if the electron is not charged the bit carries a value 0.

Definition

Thus a bit also known as a classical bit can be in state 0 or state 1, and measuring a bit at any time results in one of two possible outcomes.
