All the particles except at nodes will have simple harmonic motion.
3)
The Amptitude gradually increases from zero (at node) to a maximum (at
antinode).
4)
The distance between any consecutive nodes (or) antinodes is equal to λ/2 and
the distance between node and an antinode is λ/4.
5)
Velocity and acceleration of all the particles of wavelength λ are same at any
instant of time.
